The Serverlizer™, NetZyme®’s Rapid Application
Development (RAD) tool, is designed to automate the process
of converting monolithic applications into NetZyme based multi-platform
distributed architectures. It automatically generates a connectivity
adapter to an existing application and automatically produces
client API for a variety of platforms. The language of your
original application has to be Java or .NET.
NetZyme is an ideal foundation for network applications that
use the client-server model. Remote Object Invocation (ROI)
is a common methodology to perform network operations. In
NetZyme, an ROI client for a wireless device is the same as
an ROI client for any other platform. It is not OS dependent
but language dependent, i.e. Serverlizer generates a client
proxy in Java, J2ME, C and C++ languages. NetZyme Serverlizer
automatically generates a communication layer for the client.
The Serverlizer is capable of generating different proxies.
All client proxies generated for a given business logic, represented
by a family of Java classes, are pre-tuned to communicate
with the NetZyme server. Therefore a variety of clients can
be deployed to share the same business logic functionality.
